Military Officers from the National Defence College Paid a Courtesy Visit to Deputy Chief Minister Shri Maurya
A high-level delegation from the National Defence College (NDC)—an institution under the Ministry of Defence—is currently on a visit to Uttar Pradesh to study the state's journey of industrial and rural development. Comprising senior military and civilian officials from India as well as friendly nations, this delegation is currently undergoing training in "National Security and Strategic Studies."
**Composition of the Delegation:** The team consists of military officers of Brigadier rank, senior civil service officials from the Government of India holding the rank of Joint Secretary or Director, and senior military officers from friendly nations such as Sri Lanka, Russia, Nepal, Indonesia, and the UK.
**Key Topics of Discussion:** During the meeting with the Deputy Chief Minister, detailed discussions were held regarding various aspects of the state's rural development, industrial progress, and the evolving infrastructure of Uttar Pradesh.
**Statewide Tour:** Until March 20th, the delegation will tour significant sites across various districts of the state—including Lucknow, Kanpur, Ayodhya, Prayagraj, and Varanasi (Kashi)—to take stock of the ongoing development works.
Welcoming the delegation, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya stated that, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh is today advancing rapidly on the path of development.
