During the 'Janata Darshan' (Public Audience) program held at his residence today, Keshav Prasad Maurya listened with great sensitivity to the grievances of citizens who had arrived from various districts across the state. The Deputy Chief Minister assured those present that the government remains committed to ensuring justice for every eligible individual and extending the benefits of public welfare schemes to all.
During the Janata Darshan, the Deputy Chief Minister paid special attention to the concerns of women and individuals battling serious illnesses:
**Pensions and Social Security:** Mrs. Shanti Devi (wife of Laxman Kumar), a resident of Sambhal district, requested assistance in securing a widow's pension; the Deputy Chief Minister subsequently conferred with the District Magistrate and issued necessary directives regarding the matter.
**Health and Medical Treatment:** Mrs. Kamala Devi of Lucknow requested assistance in obtaining an Ayushman Card, while Mrs. Sarita Seth (wife of Ramkumar Seth) of Varanasi appealed for financial aid to cover the treatment of a critical ailment, such as cancer. Orders were issued to the concerned officials to take appropriate action on these requests.
**Housing Scheme:** Mrs. Sandhya (wife of Amit Kumar), who had traveled from Firozabad, requested assistance in securing a home under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Prime Minister's Housing Scheme).
