Mathura Yamuna Tragedy: Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya Expresses Deep Anguish; Directs Officials to Undertake Immediate Relief and Rescue Operations
Taking cognizance of the tragic accident that occurred in the Yamuna River in Mathura, Keshav Prasad Maurya has expressed his deep condolences. He has conveyed his sympathies to the victims of this mishap and has issued strict directives to the district administration to carry out relief operations on a war footing.
The Deputy Chief Minister issued clear instructions to the District Magistrate (DM) and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Mathura, emphasizing that no laxity should be tolerated in the rescue operations and that the search for missing persons must be intensified with the assistance of divers and the SDRF.
Mr. Maurya has further directed officials to ensure that those injured in the accident are immediately admitted to nearby hospitals and that arrangements are made to provide them with free-of-cost, high-quality medical treatment.
