Today in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya attended as the Chief Guest at the Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting of the All India Association of the Department of Telecommunications (AIACE), held at the auditorium located in Bhoothnath. Upon his arrival at the venue, the Deputy Chief Minister was accorded a grand welcome by the office-bearers of the Association.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Maurya stated that the officers and employees of the Department of Telecommunications have made an unparalleled contribution in translating Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of 'Digital India' into reality on the ground.

He remarked: "In today's era, communication is power. The hard work and technological expertise of our telecommunications officers play a pivotal role in connecting the individual residing in the remotest corner of a village with government schemes and amenities." During the event, representatives of the Officers' Association apprised the Deputy Chief Minister of their various demands and the departmental challenges they face. Mr. Maurya listened to the officers' concerns with utmost seriousness and sensitivity.

He gave an assurance that: "Safeguarding the legitimate interests of the officers is a priority for the government. Necessary suggestions aimed at enhancing the department's operational efficiency will be duly considered. Furthermore, your concerns will be effectively conveyed to the relevant ministries of the Central Government."
