Addressing the media in West Bengal, Keshav Prasad Maurya stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, an atmosphere of corruption and anarchy has developed in the state. He said that the people of West Bengal are expecting change today.

The Deputy Chief Minister stated that allegations of corruption in various schemes and administrative work in West Bengal are continuously surfacing, eroding public confidence in governance and administration. He alleged that the state government has completely failed to curb corruption.

Mr. Maurya stated that in a democracy, the people are supreme and they determine the state's direction and fate. He expressed confidence that the people of West Bengal will prioritize good governance, development, and transparency in the future. The Deputy Chief Minister stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party's objective is to establish transparent and public-friendly governance in every state of the country, ensuring that ordinary citizens receive direct benefits from schemes and effectively curbing corruption.
