On the occasion of Republic Day at the Police Lines, Prayagraj, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya participated in the parade ceremony and hoisted the national flag in a dignified atmosphere. After the flag hoisting, the tricolor was proudly unfurled to the national anthem, filling the entire premises with a sense of patriotism.
He paid tribute to the framers of the Constitution, freedom fighters, and the brave sons of the soil who sacrificed their lives for the unity and integrity of the nation. He said that Republic Day symbolizes the strength of our democracy, the supremacy of the Constitution, and awareness of civic duties. He added that January 26th inspires us to reaffirm our commitment to national service, discipline, and dedication.
On this occasion, an impressive and disciplined Republic Day parade was organized, in which police forces, NCC/PAC contingents, and other groups marched in unison and offered their salute. The parade and cultural performances conveyed a message of national pride and unity. He extended his best wishes to all on Republic Day and called upon everyone to work together to build a strong, prosperous, and self-reliant India.
Public representatives, administrative officers, police officers, and a large number of citizens were present at the event.
