Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya assured Buddhist monks in Kapilavastu that ancient sites would be restored

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya met with Buddhist monks in Kapilavastu, the playground of Lord Buddha. Shri Maurya assured them that the restoration and development of ancient sites are among the government's priorities. He visited the Vipassana center, inspected the arrangements there, and conveyed a message of peace and harmony. Blankets were also distributed to the monks.

The Honorable Prime Minister says that we have given the world Buddha, not war.

• Kala Namak rice: Gautam Buddha gave Kala Namak rice as an offering, and it is being sent all over the world.

• The relics of Lord Buddha were sent to Russia under my leadership. I will try to ensure that a portion of them is kept in Piprahwa.

• Uttar Pradesh receives the highest number of tourists in the world.

On this occasion, Honorable Member of Parliament from Domariyaganj, Shri Jagdambika Pal, Honorable MLA from Kapilavastu, Shri Shyam Dhani Rahi, Regional President of Gorakhpur region, Shri Sahjanand Rai, District President of BJP, Shri Kanhaiya Paswan, and others were present.
