Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya held a meeting with senior officials of the Home Department
The Leader of the Legislative Council, Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya, held an important meeting with senior officials of the Home Department to ensure the smooth conduct and security arrangements for the upcoming Assembly session. Present at the meeting were Shri Sanjay Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Shri Mohit Gupta, Secretary (Home), Shri Vishakh G., District Magistrate of Lucknow, Amarendra Kumar Sengar, Police Commissioner of Lucknow, and Shri Rakesh Kumar Malpani, Secretary, Home Department, along with other high-ranking officials.
He directed that effective monitoring and strict action be taken against event-based and misleading apps, such as Korean games, that have a negative impact on youth and society. He called for stringent technical and administrative measures to protect children and young people from such apps.
The Deputy Chief Minister directed that the complete ban on the purchase, sale, and use of Chinese kite string (manjha) be strictly enforced, stating that it is extremely dangerous not only to human life but also to animals and birds. He emphasized that strict legal action must be taken against the offenders.
Expressing concern over cases related to digital arrest, Shri Maurya directed that specially trained officers be deployed in every district to investigate and prevent such crimes. He said that along with financial penalties, strict judicial action should be ensured against the culprits to restore public confidence.
Furthermore, the Deputy Chief Minister directed that special security arrangements be ensured at Buddhist sites, stating that the security of these sites is extremely important from the perspective of international and national tourists.
