In the all-party meeting, Samajwadi Party leader and Leader of the Opposition, Mr. Lal Bihari Yadav, appreciated the positive initiative taken by the Leader of the House in the Legislative Council, Mr. Keshav Prasad Maurya, and expressed his gratitude. It is a rare occurrence in the history of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council for the opposition to thank the leader of the ruling party for his actions and conduct.
An all-party meeting was held in Room No. 77 of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly before the commencement of the Legislative Council session to ensure its smooth and orderly conduct. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman, Mr. Kunwar Manvendra Singh. Those present included the Leader of the House in the Legislative Council, Mr. Keshav Prasad Maurya, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mr. Suresh Khanna, Minister Mr. Sanjay Nishad, Leader of the Opposition Mr. Lal Bihari Yadav, MLC Mr. Dhruv Kumar Tripathi, MLC Mr. Mahendra Singh, MLC Mr. Rajendra Chaudhary, MLC Mr. Jaipal Vyas, MLC Mr. Jasmeer Ansari, Principal Secretary of the Legislative Council Mr. Rajesh Singh, and other officials.
The Leader of the House, Mr. Keshav Prasad Maurya, urged the leaders of all parties to conduct the proceedings of the Legislative Council in accordance with democratic norms and in a harmonious atmosphere. He said that the House is an important platform for meaningful discussion on the expectations and problems of the people of the state, and it should be made successful with everyone's cooperation.
In the meeting, there was a consensus on ensuring the smooth conduct of the Legislative Council proceedings, maintaining mutual cooperation, and ensuring serious and meaningful discussions on issues related to public interest.
