Today, the 'Regional Saras Mela'—a confluence of rural crafts, culture, and self-employment—was grandly inaugurated at the Parade Ground by the State's Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya, who lit the ceremonial lamp to mark the occasion. On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister toured the various stalls set up at the fair and lauded the efforts of the women belonging to rural Self-Help Groups.
On the first day of the fair, cultural programs captivated the audience:
• **MP Ravi Kishan:** Present as the Chief Guest, Gorakhpur MP and renowned actor Ravi Kishan compelled the crowd to dance to his tunes by singing Bhojpuri songs in his signature style. • **Anamika Amber:** Renowned poetess Anamika Amber enthralled the gathering with her spirited and melodious poetry. The crowd applauded her compositions enthusiastically, and the entire Parade Ground reverberated with chants of "Once More!"
• **Tripti Shakya:** Distinguished singer Tripti Shakya presented devotional *bhajans* in her melodious voice, creating an atmosphere that was deeply spiritual and emotionally moving.
