Today, Keshav Prasad Maurya participated in a ceremony held in the district of Prayagraj for the unveiling of replicas of the inscriptions of Emperor Ashoka the Great, and addressed the gathering present on the occasion. Speaking on this occasion, he described India's ancient cultural heritage, moral values, and the ideals of Emperor Ashoka as a source of inspiration for society.

In his address, the Deputy Chief Minister stated that Emperor Ashoka was one of the greatest monarchs in Indian history—one who accorded the highest priority to ethics, righteousness, compassion, and public welfare within his system of governance. Even today, his inscriptions serve to convey the message of truth, non-violence, tolerance, and humanity to the masses. He further remarked that the unveiling of these replicas of Emperor Ashoka's inscriptions is not merely a cultural event, but a significant endeavor to pass on our glorious heritage to the new generation.
