Keshav Maurya inaugurated the Saras Mahotsav in Lalitpur and showered affection upon the children
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya was on a visit to the Lalitpur district today, where he participated as the Chief Guest in the ‘Saras Mahotsav-2026’. On this occasion, he inaugurated and distributed schemes worth crores of rupees aimed at the district's rural development, women's empowerment, and the agricultural sector. Upon his arrival at the Police Lines in Lalitpur, the Honorable Deputy Chief Minister received a grand welcome—marked by affection, enthusiasm, and dignity—from public representatives, esteemed party functionaries, dedicated party workers, and local citizens.
Women's Empowerment (NRLM): Under the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission, the Deputy Chief Minister sanctioned bank loans amounting to ₹33.63 crore to 2,242 Self-Help Groups (SHGs). He presented symbolic checks to the women members of these Self-Help Groups, commending them for their efforts toward economic self-reliance. Agricultural Development (Tractor Distribution): To empower farmers and the youth under the 'Chief Minister's Youth Entrepreneurship Development Campaign' (Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan), the Deputy Chief Minister flagged off a rally of tractors. He also personally handed over the keys to the tractors to the beneficiaries. Food Processing: Under the Uttar Pradesh Food Processing Industry Policy 2023, he presented a grant check of ₹89.05 lakh to M/S JK Foods & Beverages, an initiative expected to generate new employment opportunities at the local level.
