Kushinagar receives the gift of new roads: Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya lays the foundation stone for multi-crore road projects

Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya today formally inaugurated several important road projects under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) in Kushinagar district. These projects will strengthen connectivity in the rural areas of the district. The roads and their estimated costs (in lakhs of rupees) are as follows: NH-28 Jaura to Sonbarsa Road (1073.48), NH-28 Jokwa to Chhah Road (806.63), Patherwa Basdila Mahant to Darjiya Road (601.26), Chaura to Badurau Road (546.20), Ahirauli Dan Lakhanha Ghat to Bank Khas Gandhi Pradhan Door (523.96), Dhuriya Imiliya to Sapahi Tadwa via Pagara Padri (403.02). The construction of these roads will improve connectivity for dozens of villages in Kushinagar to the main highways (NH-28).

Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya stated that the Uttar Pradesh government is working with complete commitment and dedication to fulfill Prime Minister Narendra Modi's resolve to connect every village with a paved and durable road.

He instructed the departmental officials that any negligence in the quality of construction work will not be tolerated, and providing long-lasting and safe roads to the public is the government's top priority.
