Instructions of Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya ji - The remaining works of Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Pradhikaran should be completed before 31 March 2026
In line with the earlier instructions issued by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya to expedite departmental work, a detailed review meeting of the remaining works under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY-III) was held today on 12.02.2026 under the chairmanship of Shri Ankur Kaushik, Chief Executive Officer, Uttar Pradesh Rural Road Development Agency (UPRRDA).
Shri Ankur Kaushik, Chief Executive Officer, Uttar Pradesh Rural Road Development Agency, informed that in accordance with the orders of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya and the guidelines of the Government of India, a review meeting was held with the Public Works Department (PWD), Rural Engineering Department (RED) and senior departmental officials.
The Chief Executive Officer gave clear instructions that all remaining works under PMGSY-III must be completed before March 31, 2026. During the review, district-wise progress, status of roads under construction, quality control, financial expenditure, and adherence to the stipulated deadlines were reviewed point by point.
He said that regular monitoring of work progress should be ensured and accountability should be established at every level. For projects where progress is lagging behind expectations, special action plans should be developed to accelerate progress. Furthermore, construction work should be carried out in accordance with PMGSY's established guidelines, without compromising on quality.
