Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya today provided point-by-point and logical answers to various questions raised by opposition members during the Legislative Council proceedings. During the House discussion, the Deputy Chief Minister enumerated the government's achievements and clarified that the current government is committed to the mantra of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas."
Taking aim at the opposition
During the discussion, the Deputy Chief Minister took a dig at the opposition, saying, "The opposition has neither a vision nor any concern for public issues. Wasting the precious time of the House with baseless accusations has become their old habit." He further said that the public has chosen development and the government is living up to their expectations.

Clarification on Development Works: Responding to questions raised by the opposition on roads and infrastructure, Shri Maurya stated that in the last few years, road construction and widening has been achieved at a record pace in every district of the state.
Zero Tolerance on Corruption: He assured the House that irregularities in any project will not be tolerated. If the opposition has any concrete evidence, the government is ready to investigate.
Employment and Investment: The Deputy Chief Minister stated that the investment-friendly environment in the state has created new employment opportunities for the youth, which clearly reflects the opposition's frustration.
