Today, at the Circuit House, Prayagraj, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya paid a courtesy call on His Excellency the Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla.
On this occasion, the two senior leaders held a fruitful discussion on various contemporary issues, including good governance, development work, and strengthening mutual cooperation between the states. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Maurya shared information regarding the progress of various ongoing development schemes in Uttar Pradesh, especially rural infrastructure, road construction, employment generation, and public welfare programs.
His Excellency Governor Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla praised the public welfare schemes implemented by the Uttar Pradesh government and stated that the exchange of experiences between states plays a vital role in the overall development of the country.
Welcoming the Governor, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Maurya described his Excellency's long political and public life as a source of inspiration. He expressed confidence that such interactive meetings would further strengthen policy coordination in the national interest. During the meeting, a cordial atmosphere was maintained and a commitment to mutual cooperation and public welfare was reiterated.
