Mr. Maurya said that it is a matter of pride for Uttar Pradesh that the women from the self-help groups have been invited to participate as special guests on Kartavya Path during the Republic Day parade in the national capital, Delhi. He congratulated and extended his best wishes to these women and also thanked the Prime Minister. These women will be flagged off by Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Keshav Prasad Maurya from his camp office at 7, Kalidas Marg, Lucknow on January 23rd.
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Keshav Prasad Maurya has instructed the concerned officers of the Rural Development Department to coordinate with the selected women from the respective districts and ensure all necessary arrangements for their timely travel to and from Delhi as per the instructions.
According to information received from Ms. Deep Ranjan, Director, State Rural Livelihood Mission, the 14 women who have achieved significant success include Mansha Devi from Gorakhpur (activity: e-rickshaw enterprise and e-rickshaw trainer) and Rajkumari Devi (activity: animal husbandry - associated with Shri Baba Gorakhnath Kripa Milk Producers Association), Pravesh Kumari from Jhansi (activity: animal feed production unit), Ritu Devi from Bijnor (activity: Vidur Cafe operation) and Suman Devi (Prerna Cafe), Sarita Devi from Kaushambi (e-rickshaw-based enterprise, Safe Mobility Project), Ritu Sharma from Aligarh (spice manufacturing and sales), Nirmala Devi from Chitrakoot (dairy business, associated with Bundelkhand Milk Producer Company), Mantravati Shakya from Etawah (advanced agriculture) and Vijeta Goyal (beauty parlor, public service center, etc.), Anupama Singh from Sambhal (cow-based products and other work) and Monika (cosmetics manufacturing), Gudia Devi from Raebareli (dairy business), and Asha from Deoria (Prerna Canteen), who will depart from Lucknow for Delhi on January 23rd.
