Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya arrived at the two-day Saras Mela in Kaushambi today, where he vehemently criticized the opposition, stating that neither the Samajwadi Party nor the Congress party stands a chance of coming to power until 2047. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya launched a scathing attack on the opposition today, stating that the opposition parties have neither a policy nor a vision for development. He stated that the opposition is only engaged in negative politics and spreading confusion among the public.
Addressing from the stage, he said:
Negative Politics: The Deputy Chief Minister stated that while the state is reaching new heights of development, the opposition is trying to mislead the public by making baseless allegations.
Appeasement Policy: He criticized the opposition, stating that it has always prioritized appeasement politics over development, causing the state to lag behind for years.
Resolution of the Double Engine Government: Mr. Maurya clarified that the "double engine" government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is providing the benefits of welfare schemes to every section of society without any discrimination.
Attack on Corruption: He said that corruption was rampant in previous governments, whereas today's government has implemented a transparent system under the "zero tolerance" policy.
