Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya held a review meeting with officials of the Rural Development Department at the Maa Shitala Guest House in Sayara, Kaushambi, today, and reviewed the progress of various development schemes being implemented in the district. During the meeting, he placed special emphasis on ensuring effective implementation, transparency, and timeliness of government schemes in rural areas.

Directing the officials, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the benefits of central and state government schemes should reach eligible beneficiaries in a timely manner and with complete transparency. He stated that the Rural Development Department's schemes play a vital role in strengthening the rural economy and the overall development of villages, and therefore, any negligence in their implementation will not be tolerated. During the meeting, he received information on the progress of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), the Ji Ram Ji scheme, the activities of self-help groups, the construction of rural roads, and other development projects. He also directed the officials to complete pending projects on a priority basis and ensure regular monitoring of the schemes. The Deputy Chief Minister stated that the government's goal is to make villages self-reliant, prosperous, and developed.

For this, all departments will have to work in coordination to effectively implement the schemes on the ground. He instructed the officials to pay special attention to promptly resolving public problems and maintaining quality in development works.

Senior officials from the Rural Development Department, district-level officials, and employees from related departments were present at the meeting.
