On the second day of his visit to his home district of Kaushambi, Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya participated as the chief guest at the "Workers' Meet" ceremony, organized to mark the auspicious festival of Holi. On this occasion, he not only encouraged the workers but also reiterated the government's commitment to development by benefiting the beneficiaries of various public welfare schemes. During the ceremony, the Deputy Chief Minister outlined the priorities of Uttar Pradesh's "double-engine" government and distributed checks and certificates for various schemes. Kaushambi has a group of 150,000 Didi's, which is planned to be expanded to 10 million.
Empowerment: E-rickshaw keys were handed over to women from self-help groups to empower them with self-reliance.
Equal Rights: Tricycles were provided to persons with disabilities to enhance their mobility.
Health and Nutrition: Furthering the commitment to a "Suposhit Bharat," nutritious food kits were distributed to pregnant women.
Values and affection: Shri Maurya performed the Annaprashan ceremony of the little children with utmost affection and presented them gifts.
