Speaking to reporters after a review meeting in Azamgarh, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya strongly criticized the opposition parties. He said that the people of the state and the country have now chosen the politics of development. The opposition has neither a policy nor the right intentions.
Mr. Maurya said, "The opposition is completely devoid of issues today. They are frustrated because they have lost the trust of the people. Our government is moving forward with the mantra of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' (Together with all, development for all), and we have the blessings of the people."
Mr. Maurya said that Uttar Pradesh, and Azamgarh in particular, will play a crucial role in fulfilling the resolve to make India a developed nation by 2047. He emphasized the bright future of the youth and opportunities for self-employment.
Attacking the opposition, he said that the opposition, steeped in frustration and despair, is resorting to the politics of corruption and appeasement, which the public has completely rejected. They are only engaging in politics of spreading misinformation. Akhilesh Yadav has lost the trust of the people; he should give up his obsession with power until 2047.
