Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Maurya will visit Azamgarh tomorrow, where he will participate in village meetings and other programs
On January 22nd, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Maurya will arrive in Azamgarh and participate in various programs. His first program will be attending an international seminar organized by the Brahmrishi Swami Sahajanand Saraswati Seva Trust and Maharaja Suheldev University at Hariaudh Kala Bhawan, Azamgarh. From there, he will proceed to the Collectorate building in Azamgarh for a meeting with the district's administrative officers. After the meeting, he will interact with journalists and finally participate in a Gram Chaupal (village meeting) and Self-Help Group program at Ram Janaki Maidan, near Junior High School, Shahgarh in Azamgarh.
Mr. Maurya had taken action against officials during a Gram Chaupal program (Power cut) in Agra; it remains to be seen who will face consequences in Azamgarh.
The Gram Chaupal programs being organized during the Deputy Chief Minister's recent visits to various districts are benefiting the villagers. At a single location, they receive information and solutions regarding basic facilities such as health, education, employment, solar energy, housing, pensions, Ayushman Bharat scheme, income, caste, residence, birth and death certificates, electricity, water, and roads.
