Directives Issued at Review Meeting: Officials Must Ensure 100% Target Achievement and Full Utilization of Budget; Emphasis Placed on 'Lakhpati Didi' Initiative and Roads Incorporating New Technologies — Keshav prasad Maurya

A high-level review meeting was held at 7-Kalidas Marg, presided over by Keshav Prasad Maurya, involving senior officials from the Departments of Rural Development, Rural Engineering, Food Processing, and National Integration. The Deputy Chief Minister issued clear directives that all departments must ensure the 100% achievement of targets for their public welfare schemes.

He stated in strong terms that the budget allocated for development works must not be allowed to lapse under any circumstances, and that its utilization must be both time-bound and transparent.

The CEO of UPRRDA reported that 100% of the allocated budget has been utilized.

Directives and Decisions from the Meeting:

Commissioner, Rural Development & Director, Rural Engineering: The Deputy Chief Minister directed that better coordination be established to ensure the effective implementation of Central Government schemes, thereby maximizing benefits for rural areas.

Transparency in Training (DDU-SIRD): The Director of the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya State Institute of Rural Development was directed to make arrangements to provide training to 100,000 individuals every month. To ensure transparency, biometric attendance will be made mandatory for all trainees. Additionally, a detailed, department-wise training calendar is to be issued.

Modern Road Construction (UPRRDA): The CEO of the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Roads Agency was directed to construct roads utilizing new technologies that are both eco-friendly and long-lasting, thereby strengthening rural infrastructure. He commended the agency for achieving 100% budget utilization.

Women's Empowerment (State Livelihood Mission): In alignment with the vision of the Honorable Prime Minister, directives were issued to undertake efforts on a "war footing" to achieve the target of creating 30 million 'Sakhis' (Lakhpati Didis).

The Commissioner of the Rural Development Department was directed to formulate a program for the 'G-Ram Ji Scheme' across all districts of the state.

The Department of Public Enterprises was directed to formulate new public welfare schemes named after eminent historical figures.

Finally, he issued a stern warning to the officials, stating that strict action would be taken against anyone found to be lax in the discharge of their duties.
