Officials warned: expedite the work; if quality is compromised, strict action will be taken, says Keshav Prasad Maurya
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya today held a review meeting with officials from various departments at the Circuit House in Fatehpur to assess the progress of development works. The meeting included a detailed review of roads, bridges, housing, water supply, electricity, health, education, and other public welfare schemes.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Maurya stated that the state government's priority is to ensure that development works are completed in a timely, high-quality, and transparent manner, so that the general public can receive the full benefits of these schemes. He instructed the officials that any negligence, laxity, or unnecessary delay in development work would not be tolerated.
During the review, the Deputy Chief Minister issued a stern warning to the concerned officials regarding the lack of expected progress in some departments. He stated that if the pace of work is not accelerated and there is any compromise on quality, strict action will be taken. He clearly stated that officials should fulfill their responsibilities as public servants and live up to the expectations of the people.
The Deputy Chief Minister instructed the officials to prioritize and expedite the completion of pending projects and to conduct regular field inspections. He said that the schemes of the central and state governments are aimed at improving the lives of the poor, farmers, laborers, and common citizens, and that negligence at any level will not be accepted.
The Deputy Chief Minister also seriously considered the issues raised by public representatives during the meeting and instructed the concerned officials to provide prompt solutions. He said that along with development, maintaining law and order and addressing public grievances are also the paramount responsibilities of the administration.
The District Magistrate, Superintendent of Police, and senior officials from various departments were present on this occasion.
