Keshav Prasad Maurya, while reacting to the state budget today, said that this budget paves the way for the state's holistic and balanced development. He stated that this budget has led to the state's development and will continue to do so. The government's goal is to integrate all sections of society—villages, the poor, farmers, youth, women, and businesses—into the mainstream of development.

Taking aim at the opposition, he said, "The opposition's only job is to criticize the government. If they seriously read the budget and understand its provisions, they would be able to appreciate it."

The Deputy Chief Minister also said that the MNREGA campaign has proven to be completely hollow. Prime Minister Shri Modi has worked to stop the looting of MNREGA in the name of Mahatma Gandhi. Under previous governments, schemes remained limited to paper, whereas the current government is working with transparency and accountability. He said that the benefits of development schemes are now reaching the beneficiaries directly.

He said that empowering "G-Ram-G" (poor, youth, farmer) will ensure all-round development of villages and bring prosperity to the state. Villages are becoming self-reliant through rural roads, housing, drinking water, electricity supply, and self-employment schemes.
