Women will be empowered through SHE MART - Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, addressing a press conference, said that the Union Budget 2026-27 presents a clear roadmap for a developed India, and he expressed his gratitude to the Honorable Prime Minister and Finance Minister for this.
He said that this budget is one that translates Prime Minister Modi's guarantees into reality, and it has been formulated with the poor, villages, farmers, and women's empowerment at its core. This is a comprehensive and inclusive budget that lays the foundation for a self-reliant India, focusing on youth empowerment, women's empowerment, job creation, and skill development.
Mr. Maurya further stated that concrete provisions have been made for strengthening the education and healthcare infrastructure, and economic growth will be accelerated by promoting infrastructure and manufacturing. New employment opportunities will be created through tourism, religious sites, and the tourism sector.
Finally, he said that when two major economies work together, immense opportunities are created. The US has reduced its tariff on India from 50 percent to 18 percent, which will strengthen Indian trade.
