Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya held an important review meeting with the Chief Development Officers (CDOs) of all the districts of the state at Yojana Bhawan, Lucknow. The objective of the meeting was to review the progress of rural development, livelihood enhancement, women's empowerment, and the effective implementation of central and state government welfare schemes.
Shri Maurya gave clear instructions to the officers that transparency, timeliness, and quality should be paramount in the implementation of the schemes. He said that rural products should be provided with a wider market through training, technical support, credit facilities, and digital platforms. He also directed that the role of each member associated with the self-help groups should be properly evaluated, and they should be honored and encouraged.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of State for Rural Development, Smt. Vijay Lakshmi Gautam, Additional Chief Secretary, Food Processing/Rural Engineering Department, Commissioner, Rural Development, Smt. Deep Ranjan, Mission Director, State Rural Livelihood Mission, and Chief Development Officers from all the districts.
