Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya emphasizes airport-to-airport cooperation in Germany
Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya held an important meeting with senior representatives of the Frankfurt Airport Region in Germany. During the meeting, he met with Mr. Manfred Okel, Mayor of Kelsterbach, Mr. David Rendel, Mayor of Raunheim, and Mr. Stefan Wittekind, CEO of Innovation Rheinmain, to discuss various aspects of India-Germany industrial partnership. A key focus was potential cooperation between Frankfurt Airport in Germany and Noida International Airport in Uttar Pradesh. Particular emphasis was placed on developing a joint action plan in the areas of logistics, data center development, innovation ecosystem, and industrial development.
Both sides resolved to advance work on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize this cooperation, encourage an early visit of a German industrial delegation to Uttar Pradesh, and develop a long-term and sustainable institutional partnership.
He expressed confidence that the airport-to-airport cooperation model will strengthen global supply-chain connectivity and develop a world-class industrial ecosystem in the state.
The meeting also agreed to further strengthen trade relations between the two countries and create a conducive environment for investors.
