Parties that insult 'Nari Shakti'—the Samajwadi Party and the Congress—are now heading towards their end: Keshav Prasad Maurya
The outrage witnessed among women today in Lucknow—stretching from Kalidas Marg to Lok Bhawan—was palpable. Keshav Prasad Maurya stated that parties that disrespect 'Nari Shakti' (women's power)—specifically the Samajwadi Party (SP) and the Congress—are now heading toward their demise. The growing indignation among women will prove to be the catalyst for the political ruin of the SP and the Congress. With the resolute pledge that "the struggle continues until reservation is granted," women raised a resounding cry in assertion of their rights.
Issuing a warning to the opposition, he asserted that those parties which fail to secure the support of women will not even be able to open their electoral accounts in the upcoming Assembly elections. The public has now clearly understood which party truly stands for their dignity and empowerment, and which party merely engages in vote-bank politics.
This struggle will persist until women receive their full rights and due reservation. He emphasized that the Uttar Pradesh government remains fully committed to the upliftment and safety of women, whereas the opposition is merely creating obstacles.
The women of Uttar Pradesh are now fully aware and will not be swayed by any misleading rhetoric. An unprecedented number of women have come forward to express their support for the government.
