Today, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya paid tribute to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, on his death anniversary, saying, “Mahatma Gandhi was not merely a person, but an idea, a philosophy, and the very soul of India. The values of truth, non-violence, sacrifice, and service, on which he built his life, continue to guide our nation even today.

Through his penance, struggle, and inner strength, Mahatma Gandhi not only led India to independence but also gave the entire world the message that even the greatest transformation is possible without violence. His life teaches us that lasting peace and justice can only be established by following the path of truth.

Under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country is moving forward with the mantras of ‘Swachh Bharat’ (Clean India), ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ (Self-Reliant India), and ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ (Together with all, Development for all), which are, in a way, modern manifestations of Gandhiji's ideals.

On the death anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, I pay my heartfelt respects to him and urge all the people of the state to contribute to building a strong, harmonious, and prosperous India by following the path shown by him.”
